The midway point of our 2017 RUN (317) Series is going to be a blast! Starting at 7pm, run (or walk) 3.17 miles through trendy Mass Ave. Then, for those 21 and older, grab your 2 complimentary craft beers of different styles from Thr3e Wise Men and hang out at the hip Post-Race Party. The bash will feature live music by nationally touring DJ Sinclair Wheeler. And let’s not forget about that FREE 6-inch Sub coupon from Penn Station. Local food trucks will also be on-site to cater to rumbling bellies. Join us as we celebrate the unique people, businesses, and charities of Mass Ave and the (317)!

About Mass Ave
Known affectionately as Mass Ave, this five-block area is ripe with theaters, restaurants, art galleries and, most attractively for shoppers, a number of eclectic, independent boutiques. Encounter unique finds on each block, such as The Best Chocolate In Town or Mass Ave Wine. Take in Indy culture at its finest on Mass Ave, “45 Degrees from Ordinary.”

The 3.17 mile course will start and finish at the 900 block of Mass Ave, near Indy Reads, and incorporates the beautiful Mass Ave. One water station will be located approximately half way through the course as well as the Start and Finish Line. Mile markers and clocks will be displayed at each mile.

Participants will receive two FREE craft beers of different styles (if 21 or older) from Thr3e Wisemen Brewing Co., a unique Mass Ave commemorative medal that doubles as a bottle opener, a FREE 6-inch Sub coupon from Penn Station, and a RUN(317) bumper sticker!

Energy Krazed, a non-profit 501c3 organization developing fun, relevant, educational, and interactive programs that empower teens to take charge of their minds, bodies, and ultimately their futures. The Energy Krazed approach is flexible, person-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative. Our programs increase the quality of life of young Hoosiers by teaching the importance of nutrition, physical and mental health, and mindfulness through a collaboration of students, parents, healthcare professionals, educators, and the community.

Try local craft beers or sip a cocktail at one of the unique bars in the area. No matter where you choose to dine on Mass Ave the experience is sure to be distinctive and noteworthy.

Q. When is the Mass Ave registration deadline?
A. Online registration for RUN(317) will close on Tuesday, July 18th at 11:59 PM EDT. Packet Pick-Up & Race Day registration will be available. Those who register on race day are not guaranteed a shirt.

Q. Can I run with my dog?
A. Dogs are not permitted to run in the RUN(317) race series.
A. One water station will be located approximately half way through the course, as well as, the Start and Finish Line.
A. Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female prizes will be awarded. There are no age group awards.
Q. Is there an age limit?
A. No! Bring the whole family.
A. Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety reasons. Strollers are permitted but must start behind all other runners and walkers for safety reasons.
A. Yes! There is a 16 minute/mile minimum pace on the course.
A. Each participant must have his/her own registration. In the event of an emergency, race officials must have emergency contact information on hand, therefore, you are NOT allowed to participate using someone else’s registration. There are NO exceptions to this policy.
A. There are no refunds or transfers for RUN(317).
